Betsy grew up as a missionary child in Brussels, Belgium where she had a first-hand encounter with missions. There, she developed a burden to do whatever it takes to see Jesus glorified on this earth. She joined The Awakening in 2014 where her multilingual capability has allowed her to plan and lead countless mission teams. Betsy and her husband Adam reside in OKC, where she is plugged into her local church as an ordained minister of the Heartland Conference.

Sofia, originally from Colombia, has a heart for serving the Lord through street evangelism, preaching, and radio ministry. Though missions felt out of reach, God opened a door through a scholarship to SCU, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2017. During her time there, she discovered The Awakening’s Traditional Internship and has been involved ever since. Sofia is passionate about raising a generation that walks closely with Jesus and actively serves at City Rescue Mission in Oklahoma, engaging in community outreach.

Raised in Amarillo, Texas, Addy first sensed a call to missions when the Awakening Traditional Interns visited her home church. Compelled by a deep desire to bring the hope of Jesus to the “least of these,” she moved to Oklahoma in 2022 to attend Southwestern Christian University and join the Awakening Traditional Internship, where she has served faithfully since. After earning her B.S. in Psychology, Addy now serves in Florida, reaching and equipping the next generation with the power of the Gospel. Her heart is rooted in the biblical mandate of Matthew 25, reflecting her commitment to loving and caring for God’s people through service.

Seth is a gifted worship leader and song writer, and is a member of The Awakening Band. Worship is what is in his heart and he loves to see youth and young adults embrace the love of God through lyrics and music. Seth wants to take his gifts and talents to unreached people groups of the world through pioneering new missions work in places that have not yet been reached. Seth has served with The Awakening since 2010.

Jordan and Camden Mooring serve as the leaders of The Awakening's East Coast Base at Emmanuel University. Jordan first joined The Awakening in the summer of 2020 through our Missions Intensive. The following year, she participated in our Summer Internship, and by the next summer, she stepped into leadership. She graduated from Emmanuel College and now works full-time, overseeing our East Coast Base with a deep passion for missions and discipleship. Together, Jordan and Camden are committed to equipping and mobilizing young people to pursue God’s heart for the nations.

Abby and Mariano Silva lead The Awakening Base in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Originally from Kentucky, Abby holds a degree in Intercultural Studies and joined The Awakening in 2015, following a clear call to missions in South America. Mariano, born and raised in Argentina, is passionate about developing the next generation of leaders. Together, they serve on staff with The Awakening, working to see lives and communities transformed by the gospel.

Adam Presley was born into a family with a rich heritage in ministry. At 7, he moved with his family to Wales, immersing him in diverse cultures early on. A proud member of the Alpha Conference in Alabama, Adam first served with The Awakening as an intern during the Summer Internship in 2015. After graduating from Emmanuel, his passion for the Great Commission deepened, leading him to answer God's call to missions. He is now joining The Awakening International Base in Hungary, where he will disciple and train believers through initiatives such as the Coffeehouse Ministry, Summer Internship, and Discipleship Training School.
