In 2020 The Awakening began working alongside missionaries to Peru, David and Cecilia Hodges through a shared vision to disciple, equip, resource, and mobilize young people into ministry. The Hodges daily serve in Lima, Peru with a mission to train every generation to represent the kingdom in a real and whole way.

The Awakening realizes that it’s not always feasible for emerging leaders to travel to one of our bases to receive training, but if something is offered to them at a closer distance within their own country, it becomes more possible. For that purpose we started the first ever Awakening Campus in Peru. Operating as a Campus, the Hodges host young leaders throughout the year in the form of an internship. These individuals come together monthly for on-going discipleship, training, and practical ministry experience.

In conjunction with the ongoing internship through The Awakening Campus - Peru, the Hodges host Missions Intensives. Twice a year, their interns gather for a week of empowerment and equipping from missionaries and experienced ministry leaders around the world who serve in various contexts and cultures.

Traditional internship
The Traditional Internship is for students who are in love with Jesus, have a desire to grow in their gifts. and deeply desire to be poured into during their college years. Each semester, interns are provided ministry training and leading opportunities to minister at different events and trips, all under a focus of one-on-one discipleship. Through supporting this program, you will be investing in the calling on so many young people's lives who are passionate about seeing this generation change the world
